How to use it
What this is
A migraine and headache diary in Excel and Google Sheets, structured the way neurologists ask for: every day logged, attacks detailed, triggers ranked.
1. SETUP
Diagnosis, tracker start date, usual attacks per month, preventive and acute medication, and your neurologist.
2. ATTACK LOG
Log EVERY day. Attack? yes/no. On attack days: severity 1-10, duration in hours, aura yes/no, suspected trigger from the dropdown, medication taken and what helped.
3. DASHBOARD
Days logged, attack days, attack-free days, % of days, attacks per month, average severity, average duration, total hours in attack, attacks with aura, medication days and a ranking of triggers on attack days.
4. NEUROLOGY REPORT
Print the summary page with frequency, severity, duration, medication days and your medications.
Reading the trigger table
A trigger only matters if it appears on attack days more often than on the days you logged without an attack. The table counts attack days; use your notes for the comparison.
